Chequessett is an active member of the Wellfleet community, hosting numerous events to help local groups fundraise, such as the Alzheimer’s Association, Wellfleet Montessori School, and Wellfleet Historic Society to name a few. Please contact us if you would like information on how to participate.

The Geoffrey H Lord Memorial Fund makes it possible for local, year-round, deserving children to attend our Chequessett Kids Camp annually. This fund was created by Geoffrey’s wife Helen, and Children who wanted to share his love for sailing and golf. Geoffrey, who was a long-time member of Chequessett, thought it was important for everyone to have the chance to learn a lifelong sport.
