Chequessett offers the most comprehensive range of classic Cape Cod fun, with golf, tennis, sailing, social events and breathtaking views. In existence for 85 years, Chequessett has continued to enhance and expand club services while maintaining that friendly, laid-back feel that harmonizes so well with its setting on the bluffs over Wellfleet Harbor.
Chequessett’s nine-hole public, semi-links golf course is among the most interesting and beautiful on the Cape. Water hazards, small undulating greens, and strategically placed bunkers add to the challenge of the course, while multiple sets of tees provide 18 different looks at deceptively demanding greens.
Three Nova Tru Turf tennis courts, a Lobster Tennis Ball Feeder and a full schedule of Round Robins, Tournaments, and Clinics provide opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to enjoy a friendly rally or a competitive match. Chequessett’s fleet of Hunter, Laser and Optis sailboats, single and double kayaks, and SUPs (Stand Up Paddleboards) provide a variety of on water experiences.
Professional group and individual golf, tennis or sailing lessons are available throughout the season. And following an afternoon of fun, enjoy lunch and/or drinks on the club house deck as you watch golfers finishing their round or enjoy the beautiful views of Wellfleet Harbor from the snack bar patio or the boathouse deck.
