Don’t miss the 7th annual Chequessett Men’s League’s Michael Kaloyanides Memorial Golf Tournament, which will take place on Tuesday, July 14th, at Highland Golf Links in Truro. This event honors not only Michael K., a former club champion, but also all other past Chequessett Club golf league members who have passed. We play a team scramble with an 8 AM shotgun start, which will be followed by a luncheon and awards presentation at the Chequessett Club afterwards.The entry fee is $100 per golfer. That includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, plus lunch. Those who want to attend only the luncheon can do so for a $30 fee. Entry is open to members of Highland and Chequessett, as well as non-members, with a limit of 72 golfers. Sign up early!
Golfers can sign up individually or as a foursome. If you sign up individually, we will put you on a great team. We hope to field a Men’s division and a Co-ed division. Modest prizes will be awarded to winning teams and Men’s/Women’s closest to the pin, longest drive and straightest drive.
The Chequessett Men’s League will donate $500 to fund a scholarship to their summer Kid’s Camp. Additionally, we will raffle off a free foursome at Highland or other selected local Johnson Management courses, with all proceeds going to the camp scholarship fund.
