The Board of Governors would like to take this time to announce the 2026 Membership and Legacy Programs for your consideration.
Following the overwhelmingly positive vote approving the mitigation and reconstruction of the golf course, the Chequessett Club is poised to enter the most exciting era in its nearly 100-year history!
Work is scheduled to begin in January on a new golf course and practice facility — including a driving range — that will secure a bright future for the Club for the next 100 years. Our beautiful new golf complex is expected to be completed in time for the 2028 season. What a way to kick off our 2029 Centennial Celebration!
As we await this transformation, we are asking our current and future members to support the Club by continuing to enjoy all that Chequessett has to offer throughout the next two years of reconstruction.
The 2026 and 2027 membership rates will reflect the temporary closure of the golf course and are designed to position our members favorably for the 2028 reopening. Specifically, we plan to institute an initiation fee for new members once the project is completed. This fee is currently projected to equal 75 percent of the membership category selected. However, members who maintain either a racquet or social membership during the project will have this initiation fee waived. This waiver will also apply to new members who join in 2026 and remain a member through the 2027 season. In all cases, maintaining a two-year membership will be less costly than paying the initiation fee — and you’ll be able to enjoy the Club throughout the 2026 and 2027 seasons.

A valid club membership is required before purchasing any add-ons or services. Once enrolled, members may choose from the following additional options (fees apply):

* 2026 Season Boat Mooring (up to 20′) — $300/boat
Services:
* Golf simulator bookings — $25/h, $35 member’s guest fee
* Thursday Night Social guest fee — $10/guest
