MIKE KALOYANIDES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Chequessett Club Men’s Golf League has established the Mike Kaloyanides Memorial Golf Tournament to honor our best golfer who died in 2020. More than 50 people, including members of Mike’s family and members of the Truro and Walpole clubs, played in the 2021 tournament. We invited contributions to the Mike K Memorial Scholarship Fund, which will allow local children who could not otherwise afford to attend Chequessett’s Kids’ Camp to learn golf, tennis, pickleball and (in the future) sailing. Chequessett is an active member of the Wellfleet community, hosting numerous events to help local groups fundraise, such as the Alzheimer’s Association, Wellfleet Montessori School, the Lions Club and Wellfleet Historic Society to name a few.
