Construction Update

The construction project began on January 5th with the contractor, Turco Golf mobilize staff and equipment while working to install erosion control measures.
The next phase of work included the establishment of the haul road and the arrival on site of the tree removal crews.  Tree removal began with the areas around the maintenance facility, the left side of hole # 9, and third tee box. Trees and stumps are cut, run through the chipper and hauled away.
Next stop for tree clearing is the borrow pit (source of fill material) located between holes 4 & 5.  A new irrigation pond is being created, and the fill material will be used for mitigation on the low holes. This pond is being constructed behind the maintenance facility and adjacent to the second hole fairway.
Hole #6 receives the first of the fill material. This hole will require the greatest amount of fill to meet mitigation.  This hole will also have a new creek located below the tees of #6 at the base of the hill.
The contractor has the project moving smoothly, even with the lingering snow. With more snow predicted for  Monday (2.23.26) this will present a new challenge, but confidence is high to stay on schedule.
